Payment + Returns

We understand that shopping online can be tricky so we are happy to provide an exchange or offer store credit for your chosen products if you wish - we are unable to offer cash refunds.

Terms - Non-Furniture Items
Returns will only be accepted if the buyer contacts us within 7 working days of receiving the item/s. We advise using a tracked service if the items are being returned via post, and postage incurred in returning product/s is the buyer’s responsibility. The item/s must be in new and unused condition, with all original packaging. Proof of purchase is required for us to process the return. Once we have received the return, the buyer will receive store credit to the value of their original order minus the original shipping charge.

Terms - Furniture
Returns will only be accepted if the buyer contacts us within 7 working days of receiving the item/s. The furniture must be in new and unused condition, disassembled and repackaged in the original packaging so we can arrange collection. Once we have received the return, the buyer will receive store credit to the value of the total order minus the original shipping charge and the collection cost.

Exclusions
We are unable to exchange or return any Sale or Clearance items, floor stock furniture, or custom ordered items or furniture. Earrings are unable to be exchanged due to hygiene reasons. 

Store Credit
Our store credit has no expiry date and can be used at both our Newtown and Victoria Street stores. In addition, orders using store credit can be placed via phone or email.

Damaged or Faulty items
In the unlikely event an item is received that is damaged or faulty, please advise us as soon as possible. We can then arrange to have the product/s returned to the store and organise a repair, replacement, or full refund. There will be no charge for the cost of the return in this case.

Payment
Orders are considered final once full payment has been received by The Axe. Payment can be made with Visa, Mastercard or Afterpay through our website. 
Please contact us if you wish to pay by bank deposit. Bank processing times can vary and may be delayed by weekends or public holidays.

Accuracy
We go to great lengths to ensure all information and product information on our website is accurate. However some slight variances in colour and finishes can occur, as well as devices can display image colours differently. If you have any concerns about this, please get in touch prior to ordering.
