Born and raised by the ever-changing sea surrounding the Danish island Bornholm, Anne Nowak draws inspiration from the horizon, the universe and everything in between. Nowak's leap into creating art came about due to a life crisis: “I sat and looked into the wall feeling completely empty inside. Then a feeling occurred and I felt an urge to create something from within. Since then, I have not looked back and my art is a necessity for me to live”.
