Shirl + Moss Chocolate Bar - Hazelnut, Orange & Sea Salt
This bar contains 20% roasted New Zealand hazelnuts; stoneground with a single-estate cacao, resulting in a soft, buttery texture. The sweet orange and sprinkle of Marlborough sea salt lift this 52% dark chocolate bar to a whole new level of deliciousness. We just can’t get enough of it.
The cacao inside this chocolate is the Trinitario varietal. A slightly hotter roast profile was used to create a more stable base for the hazelnut flavour.
Shirl + Moss hand sort, roast, crack, winnow, and stone grind for up to for 80 hours before ageing our chocolate. The chocolate is then tempered, molded and hand-wrapped in their little factory in Wellington, New Zealand.
The cacao is ethically sourced, meaning Shirl + Moss pay sustainable prices for their beans to ensure the farms can uphold ethical practices and offer support to their local communities. Cacao sourced from Fazenda Camboa Farm in Brazil.
